We are seeking students from Tamarac, North Lauderdale, Sunrise, Coral Springs, Coconut Creek, Ft Lauderdale

Students will receive 5 service hours for registering and participating.

The Tamarac North Lauderdale Student Sustainability Seminar is an interactive, education‑focused program designed to empower local students with the knowledge, skills, and inspiration to become future leaders in environmental stewardship. Hosted in partnership with schools, community organizations, and local businesses, the seminar brings together students from across the region for a hands‑on exploration of sustainability, innovation, and real‑world problem solving.

Participants engage in sessions on climate awareness, water conservation, recycling and waste reduction, energy efficiency, and green career pathways. Local experts, city staff, and industry partners lead workshops, demonstrations, and interactive activities that show students how sustainability connects to everyday life and future opportunities.

The seminar strengthens the Chamber’s commitment to community development by fostering youth leadership, encouraging environmental responsibility, and building connections between students and local businesses invested in a greener future.
